ID A Complete Online Possibility

It could be described as a franchise operation but without the costs normally associated with acquiring a franchise.

It allows any company that wishes to capture a part of the growing ID cards, printers and consumables market to do so without any real start up costs.

It is called Complete ID and it is the brainchild of Chris Rayner (pictured), Managing Director of Eagle Technologies, a specialist distributor of ID products. Complete ID allows potential resellers as well as our existing resellers to concentrate on selling and providing service to customers. It dramatically reduces the hassle and costs involved in constructing and keeping a catalogue up to date and that can be significant with over 1500 products to choose from.

Bracknell based Eagle Technologies remains the only trade only multi-brand ID product distributor and therefore has every motivation to help their resellers grow their businesses.

Complete ID is simple in concept it is an online catalogue that resellers can personalise with their own skin so that it has the look and feel of their own website with their own logo, corporate colours, contact details etc.  Eagle Technologies however has gone further and invested much time to ensure that their resellers can effortlessly build their business but in the process save thousands of pounds that would normally be spent on website costs and product management.

The ID products market has seen an upsurge in demand over the last few years and this sales growth potential shows no sign of abating. This should not of course come as much of a surprise with criminal activity becoming ever more sophisticated and with concerns over the threat of terrorism.

By signing up for the Complete ID web lease solution, resellers instantly acquire an up and running  eShop fully stocked with the wide  range of products distributed by Eagle Technologies. This includes items from market leading manufacturers but also competitively priced products from less well known brands. Chris says all have to pass the Eagle strict quality control procedures before they are allowed into the catalogue.

There are four key attributes of the Complete ID package.

Product updates are managed by Eagle Technologies and automatically and transparently changed on the resellers website. This negates the need for a reseller to allocate resource to what can be a very time consuming and therefore costly exercise.  Equally important it maintains the integrity of the resellers web site by ensuring that they are not promoting obsolete products.

Resellers can add to the catalogue other products that they wish to sell not available from Eagle Technologies.

Total control over selling prices is retained by the resellers.

Resellers can elect for Eagle Technologies to receive copies of the online orders from end-users so that products can be immediately dispatched via a plain wrap service.

From our experience of operating in the ID products market for over since 1999, we have endeavoured to provide a package that removes the barriers preventing enterprising businesses from achieving sales growth, added Chris. With an eShop/online ordering facility, this obviously means allowing the end-user to pay by a wide range of methods e.g. credit card, invoice, PayPal, etc.

Complete ID offers resellers different levels of service. If relatively new to the concept of online selling this can mean providing the reseller with a unique domain name and assistance on maximising search engine optimisation. For resellers with some knowledge of the web, Complete ID allows adjustment of to 2000 pages meta titles, descriptions and keywords.

Chris Rayner says that he is well on the way already to signing up all Eagles existing resellers and is confident that other resellers will want to take advantage of the Complete ID package. Interestingly he is now receiving tentative enquiries from manufacturers and distributors in other market sectors who feel the package would work equally well for them in their attempts to support their resellers.
