Zebra launches Printer Replacement Programme to channel
Zebra Technologies has announced a new scheme to offer members of its PartnersFirst reseller community the chance to replace outdated thermal printers used by customers. The printers will be replaced at a specially discounted price with new models designed to offer greater levels of mobility and improved connectivity and meet RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliance standards. The programme is set to increase sales opportunities and revenue for Zebra partners and is only open until April 2007.
This programme generates a means to increase business right across Europe and as such is a great opportunity to energise the market, said Xavier Cartiaux, managing director of ScanSource Europe. It gives our reseller partners a good reason to call their customers and ultimately creates extra demand in the channel.
Zebra sales director Ashley Ford adds: Zebra is offering a full range of marketing materials and support for resellers on the programme, and weve aimed to make the scheme as user-friendly as possible, so partners will see increased revenue from additional sales very quickly.
Replacing older printers with brand new Zebra ones offers all the benefits associated with printer upgrades, including faster processing speed and Unicode language support as well as better environmental credentials. The printers also have improved connectivity and can now be configured with Ethernet, USB and wireless connectivity, a feature not previously available on the models due for replacement.
The programme will be available to all partners who are members of Zebras PartnersFirst scheme with discounts up to 650 available, subject to terms and conditions. Existing service and support for Zebras older range of printers including the 105Se and Xill ended on December 31, 2006.
