HEINEKEN IRELAND RECEIVES "INSPIRED IT" AWARD FOR DEPLOYMENT OF ANTENNA SOFTWARE'S MOBILE FIELD SERVICE SOLUTION

Engineers' Real-time Access to Siebel Field Service Data Helps Maintain High Quality and Availability of Heineken Lager in Irish Pubs and Restaurants

Antenna Software, Inc., a leading provider of wireless software for the mobile enterprise, has announced that its customer Heineken Ireland has won the "Inspired use of IT in Manufacturing" award. Presented by iReach in association with British Telecom (BT), the award recognised Heineken Ireland for the mobilisation of its field service operations using Antenna Software's A3 Field Service Intelligence (FSI) software solution.

The Inspired IT Awards were created by market intelligence company iReach in association with BT, to acknowledge the role of IT managers and their teams in delivering business value through the inspired use of IT in Ireland. The judging panel is made up of members of the Irish Computer Society, the Association of Information Managers and senior executives from leading IT companies in Ireland.

Heineken Ireland, the second largest brewer in the Republic of Ireland, has deployed the Antenna A3 FSI solution to more than 80 of its service and maintenance representatives, who are responsible for maintaining beer quality at customer sites.  Antenna A3 is seamlessly integrated into Heineken Ireland's Siebel Field Service system and enables the field service representatives to receive service requests and report customer service visits using a BlackBerry handheld device operating on the O2 network. With Antenna's mobile solution, Heineken Ireland has improved the visibility of its field service operations and can manage its 24,000 monthly line cleanings with greater speed and efficiency. In addition, The Antenna A3 solution is fully hosted by Antenna Software, providing Heineken Ireland with a 24 x7 network monitoring service and guaranteed message delivery.
