Headway Technology (a division of ACAL IT Limited), one of the industrys most well known and successful document management distributors, has appointed John Shean (pictured) to head up the Storage Division.
John Shean, formerly sales manger with Lizard Tech, will be tasked with developing the channel for the storage solutions in Headways portfolio. David Lewis, Managing Director for ACAL IT commented, Were very excited to have someone of Johns calibre on board, with a proven background for developing a successful channel.
John Shean remarked, This is an incredible opportunity because Headway have some amazing storage solutions in their portfolio, capable of giving the channel extra revenue at good margin. My first task is going to be to find and recruit value added resellers and system integrators to build the channel for vendors including LeftHand Networks, Plasmon and Breece Hill to name but a few.

In the case of LeftHand Networks, the market has shown its now ready for iSCSI SANs. For the right channel partner LeftHand Networks represents a real growth opportunity.
