DA Systems, leading software solution provider for transport and logistics companies, and UnIQue ID, the automated data capture and mobile computing specialist, have joined forces to promote each others solutions.
This will enable UnIQue ID to offer DA Systems NX real time mobile data solution, which allows complete job scheduling, instant despatch of full job details to drivers without the need for any voice contact, and stage by stage date and time stamped data capture, including signature capture POD.
NX delivers significant operational efficiencies. Data is transmitted in real time to back office systems, enabling automatic invoicing and delivery confirmation emails to be sent, and SLA and KPI statistics are instantly available, enhancing customer service, whilst reducing communication costs.
UnIQue ID will provide DA Systems customers with its adaptable range of mobile computing products and access to a highly efficient authorised repair and service centre. UnIQue IDs products include an integrated GPS version of Hand Held Products 7900 and 9500 terminals an industry first which offers clear advantages to using Bluetooth GPS units. Other developments include integrating torches into handheld terminals; designing waterproof covers for terminals for use in wet weather and on motorbikes, and purpose built multi-dock charging cabinets to safely store and charge a rack of terminals simultaneously.
The partnership will see DA Systems working closely with UnIQue ID promoting and leveraging its expertise to specify the most appropriate hardware solution for its software purchasers.
UnIQue ID will introduce DA Systems NX and NX Fleet Tracking software solutions to its existing transport and logistics customer base and will then support the resulting installations with hardware.
