TraceAll announces international ISV partnership with Symbol

TraceAll announces its international partnership with Symbol Technologies Inc., as a member of its Independent Software Vendor programme through the Symbol Worldwide Channel Strategy, Development and Marketing group.

This partnership will enable TraceAll and Symbol to provide web enabled traceability solutions for optimizing global supply chains. This is achieved by utilising the TraceAll on-line traceability software in combination with Symbols hand-held mobile PC bar code and RFID product lines.

These solutions will initially target food industry supply chains for blue-chip customer groups in the UK and Scandinavia. TraceAll and Symbol already have numerous customers in the production, processing, distribution and retailing sub-sectors of the food industry globally.

TraceAll Director, Alan Steele, is internationally recognised as a leading expert in the traceability field through his advisory work for the EU and UK governments.

According to Steele, Partnering with Symbol is a major step in our development. It gives us global reach, access to Symbols direct channel sales teams, their channel marketing group and tier one implementation partners. There is a clear and powerful joint value proposition for our respective customers, delivering measurable cost savings and increased supply chain efficiency.

TraceAll has been working with international ICT management company 2in10 to help develop its global Product and Channel strategies through work brokered by Innovation Centres Scotland and Scottish Enterprise Renfrewshire.

Scot McRae, Innovation Advisor at the Hillington Park Innovation Centre believes the partnership is working well to help TraceAll fulfil its growth potential:

In the areas we cant help a company, we will bring in the best available. The TraceAll / 2in10 relationship is going from strength to strength and the recent Symbol deal exemplifies that.
