Display technology specialist, nCast, has been appointed as the latest in Dynamax Technologies European-wide network of channel partners as both companies seek a slice of the rapidly maturing market for digital signage in the retail and corporate sectors.

nCast, an innovation-led company has developed the next generation of rear projection screens, ViVid.  This rugged and flexible AV screen excels in bright daylight and has been specifically engineered to support the creative and practical needs of POS professionals.

ViVid is an easy to use and stow alternative to rigid rear projection screens, which can be difficult to dismantle and store, and film screens, which can be semi-permanent or leave window residue.  Daylight-viewable and capable of working with traditional display materials, this system makes shop window digital signage a reality.

The companys managing director, Roy Snelling, comments: When developing systems with our screens we think about what the client needs first and work from there, not simply focusing on existing methods and technology.  We wanted a partner with the same philosophy to help us provide customers with tailored solutions.  We needed a scheduling and broadcasting solution which would work with our screens to build robust, scalable digital signage for niche applications.

nCast found just such a system in Dynamax Technologies PointOfView NG, which has a formidable track record in running digital signage networks from one to 1,600 screens in size.  Developed to meet the rigorous requirements of large-scale media networks, PointOfView NG offers retailers and corporate customers the opportunity to add digital signage seamlessly to their overall mix of communications activity.

PointOfView NG enables users to schedule and broadcast advertising campaigns and news and information feeds over IP networks using the full range of screen technologies.  This, along with its reputation for reliably running large networks, recommended the solution to nCast.

Roy continues: "Dynamax is an ideal partner for us.  Not only are our products complementary, but we also share common business and market goals.   We see Dynamax as not only a market partner but a business mentor with a wealth of vital industry knowledge and experience.  This is particularly important to us as we seek to launch new and innovative products in the coming months.

Dynamax Director, Head of Marketing and Sales, Chris Frampton, concludes: We are delighted to welcome nCast as our latest channel partner.  We are committed to working with companies such as nCast to develop the innovative digital signage applications which will galvanise interest in the technology among all-important retail and corporate customers.

We look forward to a beneficial relationship with nCast well into the future.
