DICOM Groups Subsidiary Kofax Wins Best of Show at AIIM Conference for Document Scan Server

Takes Home Best of Show for Second Year in a Row in Addition to Two Business Solutions Channel Connection Awards, an Integrated Solutions I Award and Finalist for American Electronics Association (AeA) High-Tech Innovation Award

DICOM Group plc, a global leader of Information Capture and Business Communications solutions, today announced that its subsidiary Kofax has won the Best of Show award for the second year in a row at this years AIIM Conference and Exposition. Winning this coveted award is Kofaxs new Document Scan Server that allows organisations to add scanning capabilities to any enterprise business application without the need for additional software or disruption of their current business process.

In addition to receiving the prestigious AIIM Expo Best of Show Award, Kofax garnered two Business Solutions Channel Connection Awards and one finalist nomination in recognition of Kofaxs Certified Solution Providers (CSPs) at the AIIM Expo 2006 at the Pennsylvania Convention Centre. Also at the AIIM show, Kofax received one Integrated Solutions I Award and one finalist nomination on behalf of its customers.

Lastly, Kofax was a finalist for the AeA High-Tech Innovation award that recognises outstanding local technology companies and acknowledges individual contributions to the local high-tech business community.

AIIM Expo Best of Show (Document Imaging Category)
        The Kofax Document Scan Server was launched at AIIM this year and was given this award from AIIM E-DOC Magazine that recognises Enterprise Content Management (ECM) hardware and software         technologies on exhibit at the show that demonstrate exceptional capabilities and quality, and show evidence of significant Return on Investment (ROI) potential. The Kofax Document Scan Server allows         organisations to add scanning capabilities to any enterprise business application without the need for additional software or disruption of their current business process.

Business Solutions Channel Connection Award
        MTM International from Verona, WI won the Innovative Content Management Installation Award for its implementation with Exelon Nuclear.

        Computing System Innovations from Orlando, FL won the Innovative Government Installation Award for it installation into the Marion County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

        ImageSource, Inc. (Olympia, WA) was runner up for the Innovative Banking/Finance Installation for its work with First Interstate Bank.

Integrated Solutions I Award
        The Marion County Clerk of the Circuit Court (Ocala, FL) earned the Innovative Compliance-Related Installation Award for its integration into a custom redaction software application.

        Exelon (Chicago, IL) was a finalist in the Innovative Enterprise Installation category for its work with EMC/Documentum D5 content management platform.

AeA High-Tech Award (Innovative Product/Technology Category)
        The INDICIUS 5.0 product was a finalist in this local award.
        INDICIUS is a powerful suite of modules that provide advanced document classification, separation and extraction capabilities, enabling the automated processing of more types of business documents.
