Sourcefire, Inc., the world leader in intrusion prevention, announces plans to increase its channel partner base across Europe in 2006.
This drive follows the addition of several new reseller partners in the first quarter of 2006 with the aim to recruit more throughout year.
Graham Welch, EMEA managing director at Sourcefire, said: While we have always worked hard to sign up new channel partners that reflect the quality of service offered by Sourcefire, we feel it is important to intensify the campaign at this stage of our growth and leverage skills in additional countries across the region.
Some of the benefits of signing up with Sourcefire include technical and sales training, targeted account activity with the Sourcefire sales force to help win new accounts, innovative lead generation programmes, and direct access to an on-line demonstration system, plus secure portal access to partner information.
To compliment the channel recruitment program, Sourcefire is also hiring additional sales and pre-sales support staff in France, Germany and the Netherlands.
