VoiteQ, providers of voice directed warehouse picking and Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) solutions, has appointed Brian Robb as Support Manager at its new Scottish office.
Robb will use his extensive experience of the convenience store retail sector to support VoiteQs continued expansion into the Scottish retail market. This will include driving new business for VoiteQs VPoS system and to continue providing a high level of service to VoiteQs existing Scottish customers. These customers currently include John Murray of Good2Go Scotland ltd,, with eight stores trading under the Spar banner all of which are supplied by CJ Lang Ltd, Innes MacDonald also trading as Spar in his three stores and Mitchells of Inverurie.
Robb joins VoiteQ from Independent Scottish retailer Aberness, where he spent 11 years leading the IT Department latterly as Head of Information Services. Robb will also bring with him additional IT staff from the Aberness Team as he builds a support analysis team at VoiteQ.
Commenting on his appointment Robb said, In its VPoS solution VoiteQ has a product with proven pedigree and track record of success. I believe that there is considerable potential to further expand VoiteQs operations in Scotland and I look forward to the challenge of developing VoiteQs brand North of the Border.
VoiteQ specialises in providing EPoS solutions to grocer retailers and in particular convenience retailers. The VoiteQ VPoS product is a PC based EPoS system using the Microsoft SQL platform. Its flexibility and range of functionality mean that it can be tailored to the needs of a specific retailer with options such as; Chip and PIN, E top-up facilities, RF capabilities, real time stock control, waste management, effective cash control and reconciliation functionality, touch screen, integrated scales and more specifically for convenience stores, news and magazine control and a home news delivery module.
