Major interactive and display technology provider, Promethean AV Distribution, has expanded its sales force with the recruitment of internal and external team members.
These latest recruits join the Blackburn-based company at a time of rapid growth, and support plans to double the channel sales force in size.
The nine recruits join Promethean AV across all territories, (southern, western and eastern) and will assist the company in providing proactive customer relations to its channel partners.
The appointments underpin Promethean AVs expansion plans for 2006, as it aims to exceed the 30% growth performance achieved in 2005.
Steve Dracup, managing director, commented: Weve achieved significant growth in recent years, and key to this is our people. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we need to be able to provide sales support to reseller partners in getting new products out to market.
Jason Dando joins Promethean AV as an external account sales manager for the southern team. With six years experience in the AV market and working with resellers, Dando is equipped to provide channel support in the field.
Commenting on the move, Dando said: Promethean AV has shown a real commitment to working closely with its channel partners to develop new markets for interactive and display technology which is something I believe in. Im looking forward to delivering frontline sales support, and helping to build the channel business even further.
Yasir Ahmad takes on the responsibility as internal account manager for the eastern territory. He comes with vast experience of the IT sector, previously working as an account manager for a leading North West IT solutions provider.
On the key account development side, Angela Allen joins the western team. Having worked as a customer sales supervisor and gained significant experience as an account manager, Allen is prepared to provide ongoing support to Promethean AV partners. Further recruits to the western territory are Usman Mirza and Daniel Abbot.
The eastern team has expanded to include Fahima Mulla and Dave Mackender. Lee Kiernan and Lynne Crowther have joined the southern territory.
