Fuels 'Drive to Win' Initiative, Enabling SAP To Motivate Global Channel Partners and Ensure Long-Term Success SAP is using an unique on-demand incentive platform to launch its 'Drive to Win' channel partner sales initiative.  SAP will utilize this Globoforce platform and its programs to recognize outstanding sales performance from its approximately 1,600 channel partners across North and South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.  SAP's new incentive management platform addresses the growing demand for Web-based incentive, reward and recognition programs that span worldwide.

The "Drive to Win" initiative is a global sales incentive program targeted at SAP's 1,600 channel partner sales professionals, and is designed to motivate individuals for outstanding sales performance.  By selling SAP products, participating reseller organizations earn "Drive Credits," which are assigned corresponding points through the Globoforce platform.  Each organization assigns a "Team Captain" who is responsible for allocating his/her company's points to top-performing "Players."  Emails are then sent to the Players, in whatever language is appropriate, informing them that their accounts have been credited..  These points are then redeemable through Globoforce's extensive, worldwide merchant network, which offers rewards that are redeemable locally, thus making the gift more relevant to the partner's geographic region.  "Implementing a sales incentive program for 1,600 channel partners is a large undertaking for any corporation, but one that is crucial to driving increased sales and long-term success.  We selected this platform for its ease-of-use, global tracking capabilities, and based on the company's proven track record," said Diane Pereira, channel marketing manager for SAP Global Marketing.
