Epicor Launches Partners for Growth Partner Recruitment Drive

European Channel Set to Expand Following Substantial Revenue Growth in 2005

Epicor Software Corporation, a leading provider of integrated enterprise software solutions for the midmarket, today announced a new partner recruitment project aimed at expanding its European channel for its enterprise and manufacturing solutions.

We have had an outstanding year and 2006 looks equally promising, comments Harry Mowat, Epicor EMEA Channel Sales Director. We are now looking for a number of new partners to capitalise on this opportunity. However, unlike some vendors who value quantity, we are looking more for quality over quantity preferring to work closely with our partners to build a sustainable customer base.

Selected partners will complete a formal training and certification process and will join the 80 Epicor partners currently operating within the European market. Mowat adds, Our Epicor for Service Enterprises and Epicor Vantage manufacturing solutions are delivering major benefits for customers and we are especially looking for partners that have experience in vertical markets such as enterprise service automation (ESA), Distribution, Financial Services, Hospitality and Entertainment, Industrial Machinery, Light Engineering, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, and Pharmaceutical as well as broad enterprise or manufacturing software implementation experience.

Epicor partners receive on going training as well as the opportunity to participate in customer seminars and road shows as well as access to a co-marketing sponsorship fund.

Epaccsys, who joined the Epicor Partner Programme in 2003 and was recently named EMEA Partner of the Year in Epicors 2005 Channel Partner Awards, doubled its revenues year-over-year in 2005 based primarily on implementations of Epicor for Service Enterprises.  As one of the first Epicor partners to deploy Epicor for Service Enterprises for customers in Europe, Epaccsys quickly established itself as an innovator within the ESA vertical market. Ian Garvey, co-founder and director of Epaccsys comments, The concept of Web services-based applications was starting to gain popularity and the benefits to the end-user in implementation, support and deployment was clear.  We found potential customers with relative ease.

Mowat concludes, We have built an Epicor channel in Europe by choosing partners that have both the technical skill and understanding of our customers core business and our expansion will aim to maintain that benchmark without compromise."
