NEW RELEASE OF WEB COLLABORATION APPLICATION SUPPORTS H.323 STANDARD

Web collaboration software developer Marratech, has introduced a new version of its Internet based application with built-in support for the International Telecommunication Unions (ITUs) H.323 audiovisual conferencing standard.

The H.323 standard allows users to make the most of existing video conferencing hardware and software. It defines how real-time audiovisual conferencing data is transmitted across IP-based networks, allowing for shared conferences between disparate conferencing applications. The standard outlines the intricacies of every aspect of video conferencing, including voice, video, data, application sharing and white boarding.

Marratech Manager 3.2 is compatible with the current versions of major video conferencing applications that adhere to the H.323 standard for video and audio communications. Going forward, the company will continue to add support for additional video systems.
