Seagull Scientific, Inc. Adds Doug Hall as Director of Sales

Seagull Scientific, Inc, publisher of BarTender label and RFID software has hired Doug Hall as worldwide Director of Sales. Hall has over 25 years of experience leading sales and marketing teams for several leading companies in IT and Automatic Data Collection markets.

Although we grew significantly in 2004, the new opportunities we are seeing for RFID Smart Label software have convinced us that, with the right management, we should be able to continue to propel our growth forward for some time, said Don Ray, President of Seagull Scientific. You dont run into somebody with Dougs broad knowledge of data collection and strong background in bar code and RFID-capable printing everyday. Combined with his sales and channel management expertise, he was clearly the strong market development leader we were looking for to head our global sales organization.

Prior to joining Seagull Scientific, Hall spent five years with Intermec Technologies, first as Director of North America Printer Marketing, then as worldwide Director of Printer Marketing and ultimately as Director of Printer and Data Capture Marketing. Hall was previously worldwide Director of Sales and Marketing for Datasouth/Codewriter, Director of Channel Marketing at GENICOM and District Manager at EDS Corporation.

Hall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.
