Seagull Scientific has released BarTender RFID Enterprise Edition, which becomes the new highest-end offering in their line of label design and printing software. With predefined RFID objects ready for immediate drag-and-drop from the on-screen BarTender Toolbox onto label designs, the new edition provides an easy, intuitive approach to designing complex RFID Smart Labels. Supported data formats include the new EPCglobal tag data standards, such as SGTIN-96 and SSCC-96, commonly used in RFID compliance labels required by Metro, Tesco and other RFID application environments.
Don Ray, President of Seagull Scientific commented that, With the release of our RFID Enterprise Edition, users can now create RFID compliance labels about as easily as simple labels with just bar codes and text. Whether the goal is a stripped-down RFID pilot or a heavily integrated and networked smart label system, our customers can get into production quickly and monitor and maintain their labeling processes more cost-effectively with BarTender.
BarTender RFID Enterprise Edition comes with the newly-released Drivers by Seagull version 7.0, which supports over 50 RFID-enabled printer models from 10 major printer manufacturers. These RFID-capable Windows drivers, as well as more than 1350 other Seagull drivers for printer models from over 40 printer manufacturers can be downloaded free from the company's website
The BarTender RFID Enterprise Edition is available now, with a list price starting at
EURO 1495 for a three printer network license. Upgrades are available to existing users of other editions of BarTender.
