Birmingham based technology services provider, Probrand, is celebrating a landmark 1M-a-month turnover through it's on-line IT procurement hub, The IT Index, helping the company continue its growth march against a flat IT sector.
And with The IT Index out performing expectations to return 4.45M turnover, 147% growth in 2004, it has more than quadrupled in size since it's launch in 2002 and helped Probrand achieve a record 2005 first quarter, up 15% year-on-year.
As the only procurement solution accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England & Wales, The IT Index is attracting procurement professionals and financial directors to its unique financial controls and bottom line savings.
The IT Index is Europe's largest IT procurement portal and daily lists over 55,000 IT product lines from 500 manufacturers by best price and availability within a secure on-line Private Procurement Hub.

This latest milestone month puts The IT Index on track to smash all records in 2005 and follows a chain of successes including the launch of a best practice procurement campaign aimed at financial practitioners, a strategic alliance with information provider, informaDATA and numerous big account wins.
