CILS Aids Production Rework

As part of a continuous development programme, CILS has introduced a range of production aids designed to assist in the rework and repair of PCBs. The new product range offers inspection arrows and circles in 6 colours, with dimensions based on research conducted within the industry.

Based on proven durable materials, the labels will remain in place during repair and a removable adhesive ensures that no adhesive legacy remains post-repair, thereby eliminating the need for additional cleaning.

With the transition to lead-free components, PCB inspection and rework will potentially increase and pre-production labeling will grow in popularity. The tradition of applying labels at the end of the manufacturing process has been challenged by CILS. Durable high-temperature labels can be added at the start of the process, providing complete traceability. In short, CILS is the One-Stop-Shop for standard labels for production and rework applications.
