THE RESELLERS GUIDE TO PROFITING FROM SAS

Adaptec has today announced the availability of the channel's first definitive guide to profiting from the industry transition to Serial Attached SCSI (SAS). According to John Monroe, a research vice president at Gartner, despite the strength of Fibre Channel and SATA technology, SAS should be the most prevalent multivolume hard-disk-drive interface by 2007, and by 2009, it will account for about 40 per cent of the market.

Profitably Navigating the Serial Attached SCSI Transition is designed to help resellers understand Serial Attached SCSI: what it is, how it works, how they can profit from this technology evolution, and ways to make this SCSI evolution seamless for their customers.

Russ Johnson, GM and VP of Adaptec Europe said: "Adaptec has been the leader in SCSI products and technology for almost 25 years and is now bringing this expertise into the SAS market. This guide represents an essential springboard for any reseller looking to cash in on the SAS opportunity."
