Majestic completes roll-out of DigiPoS Systems EPoS solution

Majestic Wine Warehouse, Britains leading wine warehouse retailer, and DigiPoS Systems, the leading retail solutions provider, announced today that they have completed the roll out of 250 leading-edge DigiPoS PowerPoS systems across Majestics 122 store estate.

The roll out, which included the installation of a software application from Itim Technology Solutions, follows a successful pilot at the Marlborough and Stevenage stores which began in October 2004 to coincide with the peak Christmas trading period.

Majestic Wine Warehouse began their search for a new EPoS solution in 2003. They needed to upgrade their current system to meet with Chip n Pin compliancy and saw the benefits of being able to operate in a real-time business environment and in allowing staff much enhanced access to business intelligence and customer information.

The implementation of this new EPoS solution means Majestic Wine Warehouse now has a complete in-store solution; the tools and functionality required to run all point of sale operations, and complete control and visibility over their store estate.
