BWE BELL + HOWELL SCANNERS PROMOTES THREE SALES AND MARKETING MANAGERS TO DIRECTORS

Bwe Bell + Howell Scanners announced a series of promotions in its sales and marketing departments. The three managers are Tanya C. Cwiakala, Sophia A. Marchi and Jacqueline N. Horn.

Tanya C. Cwiakala, international sales and marketing manager, was promoted to International Director of Sales and Marketing.  Cwiakala oversees international imaging sales and marketing functions.  She is responsible for business development, strategic product direction, and marketing planning for scanner products sold into Europe, Asia and Latin America.

In her nine years with Bwe Bell + Howell company sales experienced annual growth in all international territories. Cwiakala will assume more managerial responsibilities as she oversees a fast-growing international sales team, including personnel at Bwe Bell + Howell's office in Beijing, which opened in
late 2004.

National sales manager Sophia A. Marchi will assume more financial and strategic business planning responsibilities in her new role as Director of Sales, North America. She will continue to oversee all sales in the United States and Canada, which have experienced year-after-year growth under her leadership. And with the company's renewed focus on growing strategic vertical markets, Marchi also will lead these business development initiatives beginning with healthcare and the federal government.

A 12-year Bwe Bell + Howell veteran, Marchi also manages all support programs for the reseller-distributor channel, including the successful Big Picture VAR Program, which has led to an increase in profitability under her direction.

Jacqueline N. Horn was promoted to Director of Worldwide Marketing from worldwide marketing manager. She directs the marketing strategy for the company's full line of scanning solutions in the areas of product management, marketing communications, and relationships with service partners and independent software vendors (ISVs).

With a growing product line and marketing team, Horn also will take a more active managerial role.
