Inventris Dallas Debut at Insights 2005

Inventris a new inventory management product by Application Developments Ltd is being exhibited for the first time this week at Insights 2005 in Dallas.

Insights 2005 is an exhibition specifically for dealers of Sage. Design R1 is such a dealer and is now a distributor of Inventris. The two have joined forces to take the U.S convention by storm.

Ian Parkinson co-director of Inventris will be heading out this week to display the new software. He says:

Inventris Enterprise is a revolutionary, handheld, wireless, internet based inventory management system. It has been specifically designed to link with Sage and other popular accounts packages. Enterprise is ideal for every businesses process management, ranging from simple goods in and goods out booking to mini ERP functions.

Enterprise has many functions, some of which include, a stock management option, which monitors stock levels as well automatically accounting for finished products. It even has the capability of updating stock figures for sub assemblies and components.

Purchase orders are produced for both automated and manual sales orders and can accommodate minimum order quantities and anticipated delivery dates.

Inventris Batch is also being launched at the exhibition. The batch system has similar attributes to enterprise and provides an ideal and inexpensive introduction to data capture. Batch is fully upgradeable to Enterprise and is available in three applications.

Asset Tracker can be used for a variety tasks. Some of these include its ability to track the location of items and produce screen or paper reports.

Order Taker has been designed with sales in mind. It provides full support at exhibitions, trade shows or any face-to-face sales activity. Order Taker allows the sales person to scan the products as he displays them to clients. Once the sale is closed Order Taker prints a paper copy of the order- ready for the customer to sign.

Stock manager is a simple method to record goods booked in and out. Stock manager includes a stock check function, allowing stock checks to be completed and discrepancies recorded.

Inventris will be officially launched along with its website in June but sales orders are rolling in already.
