Muratec has secured the OGCbuying.solutions framework (OGCbs) contract for the next three years. OGCbs frameworks can be accessed by all government public sector bodies and the contract means that Muratec will be a preferred supplier of fax machines to the NHS and other public sector agencies.
A major part of Muratecs success has been based on the companys compelling Total Cost of Ownership sales policy making the operating costs for Muratec fax and multifunctional systems amongst the most competitive in the market.
The contract has been awarded to Muratec in conjunction with two other suppliers. Commenting on the award Paul Reardon, contracts manager, OGC said, We set very strict criteria that all suppliers had to meet in order to ensure best value for the organisations we represent. We are delighted to continue a long standing relationship with Muratec.
For Muratec Jonathan Whitworth, Sales and Marketing Director for the company said, The award of the OGC contract is a major confidence boost for Muratec. It shows that the public sector place value for money high on the list of priorities when selecting suppliers. We look forward to providing cost effective business solutions for our customers in the public sector over the next three years.
