Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has launched the 130f multifunctional system offering scan, fax, copy and print functionality in one compact unit. Designed for maximum flexibility the versatile 130f offers multitasking so it can perform more than one operation simultaneously, for example transmitting a fax while copying.
With an automatic document feeder holding up to 80 originals, the 130f produces 13 A4 copies a minute with a first copy out speed of just 12 seconds. Paper sizes from A6 to A4 can be copied onto with copies reduced, or enlarged using the 130fs zoom facility, scaling from 25% to 400%.
The 130f uses LED print technology for lower noise levels with copy resolution at 600 by 600 dpi producing excellent quality results. Memory is 8Mb (about 650 pages of text) as standard, upgradeable to 40Mb, with a job memory for frequently performed copy tasks.
The 130f has an A4 500-sheet paper drawer as well as a 50-sheet bypass facility. An optional 500-sheet paper drawer can be added to give a total paper capacity of 1,050 sheets. Paper up to 120gsm in weight can be used.
A TWAIN driver allows the 130f to act as a black and white or colour scanner with the ability to scan to file, e-mail or FTP (file transfer protocol) in TIFF or PDF formats.
For fax operation the versatile 130f has a super group 3 fax module with 33.6 Kbps modem. The fax facility offers broadcast fax to 200 locations and has 40 one-touch speed dials with another 160 numbers held in memory.
As a printer the 130f can be connected via a USB port to provide GDI print operation with a parallel interface upgrade also available. For networked printer usage the 130f can be supplied with an optional 10baseT/100baseTX network card with optional PCL5e, PCL6 print operation supported.
