Webroot Software appoints new UK channel manager

Webroot Software, Inc., the leading provider of anti-spyware software and other security technologies for consumers and enterprises, today announced it has appointed Rachel Taylor to the position of channel manager. Taylor brings with her significant experience of the UK channel from Computer Associates where she worked for over seven years, most recently as distribution account manager.

"This is a great challenge for me and Im excited about joining Webroot at such an important time. It already has a well-established brand name and reputation as the leading anti-spyware vendor amongst end-users," explains Taylor. "I intend to build on this to establish Webroot as the anti-spyware vendor of choice for the UK reseller community and to drive sales of Spy Sweeper Enterprise into the corporate and government sectors."
