The Comet 3000 is an excellent UPS solution for industrial or telecommunication applications which is based on a proven design style and is extremely cost effective. The solutions can even be paralleled to provide an N+1 solution without the need for synchronization external boxes or multiples cables.
As standard the UPS products the user with a wealth of information via an informative LCD and LED status panel. Network connection and remote monitoring is achieved by adding an internal network card. Just in case the users needs dry contacts or even in the future the Comet 3000 is shipped with dry contacts as standard which can alert you to load on battery and end of autonomy to name but a few.
The Comet 3000 is extremely easy to install as cabling is achieved at the front bottom section of the UPS. As standard the Galaxy Optimum features the DigitBatTM system which optimises the battery recharging parameters in order to extend the battery life. In addition by automatically checking every parameter of the battery, the battery monitoring is able to predict when the battery will fail. These unique features help to lower cost of ownership and provide users with highly advanced UPS Solutions.
In addition, monitoring software is supplied with each Galaxy Optimum for easy peir to peir monitoring or network based event monitoring. Additional network options include an NMS integration kit for HP Openview, IBM Tivoli Netview to name a few.
