The A600 series of thermal printers from Axiohm boasts a new member to the team - the A632. Now with recently awarded 'e' approval for in vehicle use, this thermal receipt printer is perfect for Taxis and many other vehicle applications.
Manufactured with vehicle space constraints in mind, the A632 has a footprint of only 108mm x 147mm and a height of just 72mm. New features introduced specifically with the automotive industry in mind include 12VDC battery, 9 to 12VDC converter, Windows drivers for 98/2000/XP & Pocket PC meaning that the printer can be used in conjunction with a PDA. The A632 has also been designed to withstand operating and storage temperatures expected when being used in a vehicle in all weather conditions.
A host of features to fulfil the needs that thermal printing demands also come as standard with the Axiohm A632, including - a fast print speed of 55 mm/s, paper width of 58mm, battery life of up to 170 hours, weight of just 330g, carrying case, RS232 interface, easy clamshell paper loading, and a choice of 24 or 40 column print width.
