Verity partners with Dataintro Software

Verity, a leading provider of enterprise software that enables organisations to maximise the return on their intellectual capital investment, announces that Dataintro Software is now a Verity technology partner. An immediate result of this alliance is the addition of Dataintro's UltraForms technology for 2D barcode generation to Verity LiquidOffice business process management (BPM) software.

UltraForms allows online, PDF-based forms to generate 2D barcodes seamlessly, based on user data input. These dynamically-generated barcodes contain an encoded version of the information that was entered by a user into the fields of the Verity LiquidOffice, PDF-based electronic form.

Using the UltraForms and LiquidOffice technologies, users are able to print out a paper version of the online form that contains the data in both readable text and barcode formats. In this manner they can review, sign and submit the paper form for processing. The paper form is scanned or captured from a fax transmission, and the information is automatically read from the barcode. The data is then directed to the appropriate business system, including an image of the signed form, then stored in an electronic records management system. This creates an ideal way for customers to process and electronically file forms that require an authentic signature.

A major advantage and key differentiator of UltraForms is its capability to work in Acrobat Reader from version 4.0 and higher. This provides immediate support for more than 500 million Acrobat Readers installations worldwide.

Dataintro looks forward to a partnership with Verity that provides meaningful benefits to both companies; and most importantly organisations and individuals that will use an UltraForms-equipped LiquidOffice solution, says Carlos Gonzalez, Dataintros chief executive officer and co-founder. UltraForms offers significant cost and time-savings over traditional automated data capture.

Veritys efforts to help an organisation to derive more value from its intellectual capital at every point of the information flow takes an important step by naming Dataintro a Verity technology partner, says Mark Seamans, Veritys senior vice president of research & development. UltraForms, with 100 percent data capture accuracy, enhances the appeal of Veritys business process management solutions, making it an even more valuable tool for organisations of all sizes and types.
