iomart Group plc ("iomart") is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement with BT plc for the provision of iomart's NetIntelligence software. The agreement will give BT Wholesale sales rights to the product in the United Kingdom broadband market.
BT Wholesale plans to offer NetIntelligence to its broadband Internet Service Provider (ISP) customer base, which includes virtually every ISP in the UK .
NetIntelligence Home Edition offers security and parental control for up to three computers in a broadband-connected home. It provides full anti-virus protection, blocks inappropriate web sites, monitors and records Instant Messenger and chat, and gives a full view of all users activity in easy to understand reports. The product has been specifically designed for non technical families.
NetIntelligence, which can be fully customised and branded by the ISP, will be marketed as a value add service or bundled to complement existing internet and broadband portfolios.
