Access strategy specialist, C&C Technology, today announced its partnership with behavioural endpoint security solutions provider, WholeSecurity, to become the first UK reseller of WholeSecurity's Confidence Online product. C&C Technology enables its clients to adopt flexible working practices using mobile and wireless technologies as well as traditional fixed networks. This alliance reinforces the Company's continued commitment to providing its clients with secure access infrastructure solutions. Confidence Online further enhances C&C Technology's portfolio of products and services that enable the Company to offer a total solution to meet its customers' needs for flexible and highly secure access to their business information.
Security is a constant concern; particularly for businesses enabling staff to access their networks remotely from a variety of devices such as laptops, PDAs and mobile phones. The constant threat from viruses and other malicious content means that many businesses are now starting to look for more proactive solutions to allay their security fears.

Confidence Online has a detection engine which monitors for the behavioural patterns of both known and unknown threats such as Trojan horses, worms and remote controls. This enables companies to maximise the benefits of anytime, anywhere network access, while maintaining a high degree of security on the endpoint devices used to access the network.
Confidence Online works by treating every device that accesses the network as potentially unsafe; scanning each one to ensure that it is safe from infection before allowing it access to the network.
