Heyes to head up Promethean AV training support service

Promethean AV Distribution has appointed John Heyes as new business development executive to head up a dedicated training and support service for its channel partners. After serving 15 years with the company, he moves into the role to assist in the delivery of Promethean AV interactive systems training and to provide projector-specific support.

With vast experience in the Promethean AV sales and support department, Heyes undertakes the new role equipped with substantial knowledge of the company's channel partner needs.

Appointed in response to reseller demand, Heyes will support the Promethean AV sales team by providing partner demonstrations and training for end users. Heyes explains: "I am on hand to provide anything from demonstration support at exhibitions to training for the end user. I will also be keeping abreast of all new projector developments. This means that through me, the sales team can deal internally with any customer queries, providing a comprehensive and efficient service."

Commenting on the appointment, Steve Dracup Promethean AV managing director, said: "We recognise that as a distributor, we need intimate knowledge of the products we supply to enable provision of a quality support service. John's appointment reflects our commitment to support an ever expanding projector portfolio, and provides an extra resource to assist resellers as they start missionary work in markets outside of education."
