READSOFT ANNOUNCES FURTHER UK EXPANSION

Following the successful launch earlier this year of ReadSoft DOCUMENTS, a complete product platform for document automation, ReadSoft is growing its UK sales operation by 30 per cent as well as expanding its channel partner operations.

The UK expansion reflects ReadSofts global growth. In its latest interim report, ReadSoft announced that turnover increased by 17 per cent for the first nine months of 2004, and by 29 per cent in the third quarter.

ReadSoft in the UK is adding two new sales personnel to its team. Paul Richardson joins ReadSoft to strengthen its sales of ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices software for automated invoice processing. Steve Mackenzie joins the sales team responsible for ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Forms software for automated document capture.

Russell Henley, ReadSoft UKs VP of sales and marketing, said: "The launch and gradual roll-out of the new ReadSoft DOCUMENTS platform, as well as ongoing demand for our existing products for invoice and forms automation, are opening up some very exciting new opportunities that we need to capitalise on from a sales perspective. By growing the team, and driving our channel relationships, we will take ReadSoft to the next level, enabling the company to help customers in a wide range of markets to radically improve business efficiency through document automation."

ReadSoft DOCUMENTS can read all types of documents, handle them in a single streamlined process that can be integrated with customers ERP or other systems and archive and forward the processed data electronically. The platform is based on five modules which form an end-to-end concept, from input to output and incorporates pre-configured Business Solutions which automate the processing of specific document types, such as invoices and structured forms, as well as business applications such as mailroom, easy EDI and indexing.
