DIGITAL VISION IS FIRST KOFAX ASCENT DEVELOPER PARTNER

Digital Vision is the first Kofax technology partner worldwide to gain the new Ascent Solution Developers Programme, with its product for automating data capture from paper intensive processes in retail banking, accounts payable and mailroom applications.

A prominent UK-based IT systems integrator, Digital Vision specialises in automated data capture, document management and accounts payable automation.

The Kofax Ascent Solution Developers Programme is designed to recognise the most technically competent business partners. Digital Vision is the first company worldwide out of 1,200 technology partners to obtain accreditation with the programme since its launch in October 2004. For example, Digital Vision's Ascent Capture compatible SpeedKey module provides tight application integration besides correction, completion and validation of data via a Kofax Ascent Capture hosted optical character recognition (OCR) process.

Dennis Wright, director of Digital Vision, comments: "We are always striving to improve our products and services, which is why we have invested time and technical expertise in components such as SpeedKey. Kofax Ascent Capture is a popular data capture platform for corporate users and we have extended the business benefits of the system, which we can then pass on to our customers. It is an honour to receive the accolade of this partner accreditation."

This is the fourth Kofax technology partner award received by Digital Vision in just three years, following: The Special Achievement Award in 2002 for freeform solutions and technology, the Number One Kofax UK Sales Operation in 2003 and Platinum Partner in May 2004.

Kofax Ascent Capture enables organisations to collect large volumes of documents, transform them into useful electronic information, and then deliver it into a variety of workflow and document management systems.
