SATO Europe announces new RFID Business Development Team

SATO Europe, a leader in barcode printing since introducing the first thermal transfer barcode printer in 1979 and the industrys first, complete multi-protocol EPC-compliant RFID solutions offering, announced today the creation of a special RFID Business Development Team focused exclusively on helping customers to understand and implement mandated RFID systems.

SATO, recently named a Gold Partner and member of the rollout project team by the worlds fourth largest retail company, Germanys Metro Group, will now enable suppliers to the Metro Group and other retail companies such as Tesco, to meet the upcoming RFID mandates in Europe.

Mr. Andreas Kolb, RFID Business Development Manager, has been appointed to lead SATO Europes RFID Business Development Team with strong support from SATOs technical and sales staff. Mr. Kolb has been extensively involved in Metros Future Store initiative and will be part of Metros rollout project team.

SATO Europes RFID Business Development Team will work directly with Mr. Victor Barczyk, Vice President, Business Development, SATO International. SATO Europes new RFID Business Development Team will enable Andreas to better serve our customers recent RFID market demands and demonstrates our total commitment to help develop and implement the appropriate RFID solutions, said Mr. Barczyk.
