New Microflex CE8800

DAP Technologies, leading manufacturer of rugged mobile hardware solutions and services, announces the new Microflex CE8800. With a colour full screen VGA, it offers to the operational teams a great visual comfort and a strong reliability.

With new Intel XScale RISC 400 MHz processor, Microflex CE8800 reduces energy consumption by 15 % and increases speed higher than the processors of the last generations. It can be used during 10 hours without stop thanks to the energy management integrated into the Windows CE.Net 4.2 operating system.

The Flash memory of 64 Mo can be increased by adding PCMCIA charts to store big quantities of data and to develop complex applications in positioning and medical imaging areas. The Flash memory was preferred to a hard disk for its better resistant components, ensuring a limited risk of loss of data. Microflex CE8800 is adapted to all environment thanks to its strong impact resistance (up to one meter on concrete) and to a large temperature variation resistance.

Equipped with two PCMCIA slots, the Microflex CE8800 can accommodate all the types of chart (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, GPRS/SMS, GPS, RFID, etc).

A dedicated solution to simplify, to automate and to manage stocks quickly
Microflex CE8800 can be exposed to dust, water and the shocks. This solution is perfectly adapted to the logistics and inventory control onboard applications.

Used as recording information platform, the large screen of new Microflex integrates a virtual keyboard which offers to user a great comfort and an excellent data security. For example, during inventories, the users can easily index products in clicking on corresponding icon.
