Daeja Image Systems today announced a hot new COLD Module for their world-leading java image viewer ViewONE Pro. The Module, which is available for just 500 for a server license, is in response to a chorus of requests from COLD system users looking to benefit from the same installation-free functionality and collaboration offered by ViewONE Pro for other file formats.
Daejas new COLD Module will join ViewONE Pros existing suite of Annotations, Print Accelerator, DjVu and PDF Modules, which all extend the functionality of their market-leading java image viewer, and are delivered via Module-On-Demand by ViewONE Pros innovative Advanced Cache Manager.

COLD systems achieve substantial reductions in storage size for forms by splitting them into foreground and background images, allowing system users to only have to store the foreground for each new scan. However, viewing the complete file requires complex scaling and rendering to ensure a legible recombined image, which is why either each system has its own viewer, or ships with an SDK inviting users to spend months compiling their own.
