Kofax, the worlds largest information capture vendor, announces that attendees of its 8th annual Transform worldwide partner conference identified information capture as an increasingly strategic application for improving business processes. The yearly Transform event is a global tour that enables Kofax Certified Solution Providers (CSPs) to learn new technologies, share best practices, provide feedback to Kofax executives and network with other successful Kofax partners.
As part of Transform 04, Kofax also recognized its top-performing CSPs for the year. Targeting executives, sales and marketing managers, account executives, and technical directors of Kofax CSPs and resellers, Transform 04 included nine full-day events in Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom; Breda, Netherlands; Dusseldorf, Germany; Prague, Czech Republic; Copenhagen, Denmark; Paris, France; Madrid, Spain; Rome, Italy; and Lucerne, Switzerland. Four further events took place in the U.S., including Baltimore, MD; Orlando, FL; St. Louis, MO, and Newport Beach, CA. More than 850 representatives from more than 450 companies attended the partner conference to gain insights and strategies that enable the delivery of cutting-edge, revenue-generating capture solutions, including new Kofax products such as Ascent Xtrata and Capio.
"One of our true differentiators as a channel-friendly company is our willingness to bring Kofax and our technology partners out to meet solutions providers around the world, where our attendance in Europe nearly doubled compared to last years numbers. Through the "Transform 04" conference, we can exchange ideas and receive feedback with our partners on the latest innovations and best practices in information capture," said Rick Murphy, president and CEO at Kofax. "We received high ratings from the surveyed attendees on the educational content of the conferences, but the most significant feedback we received is that capture technology has become a vital component in their enterprise-scale client implementations."
According to an attendee survey, 66 percent of respondents reported that capture technology is a strategic or "lead-in" application for their customers to improve overall business processes. Also, 30 percent of respondents indicated that capture technology is now a necessary component in every customer implementation that they perform. Finally, 60 percent of respondents identified personal or enterprise capture applications as significant markets for expansion in the coming months. "Our CSPs are seeing tangible evidence that more enterprise-scale customers recognize the value and necessity of information capture technology to improve their business processes," said Murphy. "This feedback is highly encouraging for our business development as well as the industry as a whole."
