Trend Micro to Provide Virus and Spam Protection for HP ProLiant Servers for Small Businesses

Trend Micro, Inc. a leader in network antivirus and Internet content security software and services, today announced that Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) v2.0 has been selected for pre-installation on industry-leading HP ProLiant servers with Microsoft(tm) Windows Small Business Server (SBS) 2003.

Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite for SMB is an integrated antivirus and anti-spam solution for small and medium-sized office environments with workstations, servers and Microsoft Exchange servers, and supports environments running Microsoft Windows SBS 2003. Trend Micro has specifically designed products to help simplify the acquisition, deployment and maintenance of comprehensive security solutions for the SMB customer.

This security solution server bundle for SMB customers is the first time HP has included antivirus and anti-spam solutions on ProLiant servers preinstalled with Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003.

Availability
Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite for SMB v2.0 is expected to begin shipping pre-installed on HP ProLiant ML100 and ML300 series servers in late Q3/ early Q4 2004, beginning in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and parts of Asia Pacific (in an English-language interface). Additional language versions are expected to follow.
