Probrand, the Birmingham based IT reseller, has further enhanced its impressive portfolio of clients with high street food and drink chain, Coffee Republic, who are reaping the benefits of the company's groundbreaking IT Index.
The IT Index is a web-based procurement solution that lists more than 50,000 products by best price and availability from more than 500 different vendors in a secure on-line environment.
Coffee Republic's IT department now uses the IT Index, Europe's largest e-procurement hub, to purchase all in-store and head office IT solutions including consumables, communications hardware and server infrastructure as well as software and general IT hardware.
And the numerous benefits now being enjoyed by Coffee Republic have been highlighted in an in-depth report recently carried out by renowned research firm, The Butler Group. The report identified that Probrand's IT Index offered considerable time and money savings through its innovative use of e-procurement technology.
Coffee Republic's IT manager, Pee Herron, said: "On average we are saving a day a week in time which we used to spend managing procurement administration and the IT Index's approach to pricing means we are generating consistent savings on purchases.
"For a business such as ours, which has a relatively small IT team, it is helping us save time and money and the impact of this is that we can focus our energies on front line support to ensure all areas of the business are operational and down time is minimised."
Probrand is currently signing up ten new customers a day to the IT Index as more and more businesses look to benefit from the savings that it's e-procurement solution offers.
