Finjan Software, the leading provider of pro-active secure content management solutions for global companies, today announced the first step in its launch of a new product and major enhancements to its existing suite of products, with the introduction of a new brand called Vital Security. The Vital Security brand replaces Finjan's SurfinGate, SurfinShield and Mirage security solutions.
In response to growing market demand for behaviour blocking technology and integrated best-of-breed security solutions, the new Vital Security product suite, which has started shipping, includes these products under the labels Vital Security for Web, Vital Security for E-mail, Vital Security for Clients and Vital Security for Documents.
The rebranding is part of an overall marketing initiative to highlight the needs, benefits and RoI of proactive behaviour-based technology working in concert with traditional best-of-breed content security solutions, in defending against new computer threats and Internet attacks.

New Partner Programme
In response to partner demand, and as part of its drive to provide improved high quality support both for end users and channel partners, Finjan, the leading provider of proactive secure content management solutions, has announced the introduction of its new global Vital SecurityTM Partner (VSP) Programme.
There are two levels of accreditation, namely Finjan Authorised Vital SecurityTM Partner (AVSP) and Finjan Premier Vital SecurityTM Partner (PVSP). These reflect the different types and sizes of partners, existing customer profiles, product focus and numbers of staff to be trained on Finjan products.
Finjan will provide committed channel partners with the necessary knowledge, tools and support in order to successfully sell and support solutions based on its Vital Security product portfolio. As a result, says Touboul, Finjan and accredited partners will work as a team to communicate and introduce the values, benefits and RoI of Vital Securitys pro-active behaviour-based solutions.
Both levels will receive a broad range of benefits including: regular sales and technical training; support in lead generation and access to Finjan-generated leads; where possible, opportunity protection; and promotion as a Vital Security Programme on the Finjan corporate website. Premier level accreditation will include additional marketing and post sales technical support and increased license discounts and maintenance support contracts based on a minimum annual revenue commitment.
Finjan has also developed a special private portal on its corporate website for members of the Vital SecurityTM Programme (http://www.finjan.com/partners/default.asp). Here, accredited partners will be able to access a wide range of sales, marketing and technical tools, from data sheets, fact sheets and white papers to market research data, FAQs and active content security demos.
