30 November-2 December: ONLINE INFORMATION 2004 LAUNCHES ENTERPRISE DOCUMENTS & RECORDS MANAGEMENT EUROPE

A new event designed to help organisations manage data more efficiently has been launched today by the organisers of the Online Information and Content Management Europe (CME) exhibitions and conference. Enterprise Document & Records Management Europe (EDRM Europe), will run alongside the 2004 events from the 30 November 2 December 2004 at Olympia, London.

EDRM Europe will demonstrate the solutions that provide organisations with better control over their information, regulatory compliance, cost savings through more efficient processing, extended access to corporate knowledge and robust management of corporate data.

This extension of the Online Information portfolio by VNU Exhibitions Europe has been introduced in direct response to visitor research highlighting a significant interest in the area. Of the 11,000 visitors to Online Information 2003, 4,400 (40%) expressed specific content management needs, 3,000 (27%) stated specific interest in document management systems and 1,900 (17%) wanted to meet providers of information retrieval solutions.

The Online Information Conference, which runs in parallel to the exhibition, sees leading online industry commentators, consultants and professionals, top academics and key vendors exploring the major issues and key trends shaping the industry, and predicting developments for the future.
