Complete PoS-olution

PCMS Group, one of the countrys leading providers of integrated software, services and hardware systems to the retail community, has launched the latest addition to its Java-based BeanStore portfolio, BeanStore Lite.

Designed specifically to keep retailers costs to a minimum, BeanStore Lite uses exactly the same application, technology and standards as its big brother Vision BeanStore but focuses on a fixed set of PoS functions to deliver core retail business functionality.

Many of the options which are available on the larger BeanStore product, PCMS has set as standard on BeanStore Lite. Indeed, the entire PoS platform of both operating system and hardware has been pre-configured to enable quicker implementation time and a consequent reduction in costs to the retailer.

BeanStore Lite also includes Chip & PIN / Online Authorisation (OLA) capabilities, while in addition, retailers can benefit from increased functionality beyond the PoS system, including real-time visibility of sales performance and the control and management of information across the business.

Richard Smith, managing director of The PCMS Group, commented: BeanStore Lite is at the forefront of the next generation of PoS solutions. Specifically aimed at the small to mid-sized retailer, the application provides a robust and flexible platform, with unique functionality at a price that makes it entirely accessible.
