IEE, a major manufacturer of standard display modules and integrated display solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of a line of low-cost, high performance price checkers to its Retail Products line. IEEs line of price checkers allows customers to easily verify the price of bar-coded merchandise. According to IEE Vice President, Stuart Siegel, IEEs ScanVue Value+ provides substantially improved customer convenience, productivity of store personnel and product data collection at a very competitive price.
Priced as little as $399, the standard model is available with a bright, easy to read 4 line x 20 characters (5mm height) vacuum fluorescent display and Power over Ethernet (PoE). PoE provides for a simple, single category 5 Ethernet cable installation without the need of a nearby AC outlet.
IEEs ScanVue Value+ has a slim, low profile design which can be mounted flush to a wall. An optional pole mounting kit is available. The standard model can be enhanced with a blue/white 320 x 240 monochrome graphics LCD. Its self-serve capabilities can be expandable to a kiosk by adding an optional printer or functional four-pushbutton switches.
