STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FORMED TO PROMOTE AND DELIVER THE LATEST SMART LABEL RFID SOLUTIONS

Paxar UK (Paxar or the Company), part of the 250,000 customer-strong Paxar Corporation, the worlds leading manufacturer of apparel labelling and identification products, announces that it has joined forces with Intellident Ltd (Intellident) to co-promote and deliver the latest in smart label RFID solutions.

Paxar and Intellident will work together to deliver RFID smart label solutions that can be specifically tailored to applications working with both 13.56MHz and the range of UHF frequencies. Combining Paxars knowledge, extensive label design and production capabilities, with the strength and experience of Intellidents RFID solutions and implementation skills, will allow both parties to collectively offer a range of robust RFID solutions.

Todays announcement follows recent news made by the Company regarding its Marks & Spencer RFID application, which is currently being tested in the largest garment-specific trial ever. The trial is in its second phase, and being tested at six of Marks & Spencers London stores specifically on its mens suits. The tags developed for the garment trial are contained within throwaway paper labels called Intelligent Labels.
