MAP80 SYSTEMS APPOINTS TWO SALES DIRECTORS

MAP80 Systems Ltd, the labelling/identification specialist, has announced the appointment of two sales directors. Kerry Lee has been appointed overall Sales Director, and Vince Postill has been appointed Director of Sales for Systems Solutions. Both appointments are the result of a strategic business decision to re-focus the company's efforts on becoming more customer-driven.

MAP80 Systems is part of the Prisym Group of companies. According to Mick Daw, CEO of the Prisym Group, "MAP80 Systems has enjoyed successful growth over the past ten years; growth which has been underpinned by ensuring that the PRISYM product family meets and exceeds customers' expectations. In addition, our expertise in systems integration is playing an increasingly important part in our growth as customers seek to meet new challenges whilst protecting and utilising their investments in modern ERP and SCM solutions. This expertise has also allowed us to develop powerful, enterprise-wide automated identification and tracking solutions. We now intend to build further on this success by becoming more agile in responding to our customers' changing needs. These appointments are important steps in this process: the industry knowledge that Kerry and Vince bring to MAP80 will be essential in formulating and implementing our future strategies to develop our customers' solutions, as well as our expansion into new product areas."

Vince has an exceptional knowledge of labelling products and the industry, and will be responsible for international sales of large turnkey systems, supported by our existing UK system team and reseller network."

Kerry Lee has over 20 years' experience in international sales, in the auto-ID, software solutions and retail technology sectors. He has held a number of senior management positions, including five years as Managing Director of PSC Inc., a company that produces integrated data collection systems for retail supply chains. During his time with PSC, Lee significantly grew the company's revenues in northern Europe, the Middle-East and Africa both through direct sales and by strengthening and expanding their distribution channel. Lee's other appointments include Client Director for ICL and more recently, International Business Development Manager at Retail Logic.

Vince Postill brings more than 17 years' experience to his new position. Prior to joining MAP80 Systems, he was Managing Director of Image Computing Systems, a company specialising in advanced printing and labelling products. During the 12 years that he worked for ICS - seven of which were in the capacity of MD - Postill successfully positioned ICS as one of the top two companies in a new market for in-store printing solutions. Postill has extensive experience in technical sales and marketing, as well as a solid engineering background. He holds an honours degree in aeronautical engineering, and is a chartered engineer, a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and an associate member of the Institute of Electronic Engineers.
