An interesting feature is the RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) newsfeed that can be added to your own RSS reader running on your desktop. RSS will allow you to monitor the latest additions to the portal. To find this, click here and then click through to choose the particular newsfeed you would like to add to your RSS reader. RSS is a useful tool for distributing information and can eradicate spamming because the user has to configure his or her own RSS reader to enable the information to come through. Those of you responsible for marketing and customer contact will like this a lot-because you will be able to configure your own websites and encourage your customers to add your newsfeed to their own RSS readers.
