Track your way to success with Critical Path Management from Alphameric

Leading retail solutions provider Alphameric will be showcasing its next generation critical path management system at Retail Solutions 2004, NEC Birmingham, 8-10 June. Developed in collaboration with ELC (Early Learning Centre), this new tool forms part of Alphamerics comprehensive .NET-based merchandising and assortment planning solution.

With this new functionality, retailers will be able to pro-actively track and manage the critical path of each and every product from the minute it is planned into the range, until the retailer takes delivery. This can greatly improve supplier collaboration and the sharing of order information both within the retail organisation and with key strategic partners. By using the solutions modelling capabilities, retailers will also be able to forecast the effects of any changes in a products critical path and better understand the impact of changes before committing to a decision.

The expanded solution also includes the facility to automatically respond to any problems or changes to a product order, issuing email alerts to the relevant users and altering the schedule so that the entire effect can be seen and appropriate action taken.

Alphameric bases its solutions on the Microsoft .NET framework to ensure they are truly web deployable, user-friendly and integrate easily with other Microsoft systems. The new critical path management tool supports multiple languages to ensure the same data is seen across the globe and can be run as a standalone or as an integral part of the complete solution.

Alphameric will be showcasing a vast array of its retail solutions, from Chip & PIN solutions to merchandise management, assortment planning and visual merchandising products.
