Boston unveil Supermicro's latest 1U Dual PSU Server Platform

Boston Limited is delighted to announce availability on an exciting new range of high performance 1U rackmount servers from Supermicro featuring dual hot swap power supplies. As the first of its kind from Supermicro, this revolutionary server features a motherboard design specific to the
server unit. A host of latest technologies are supported within the design including dual Intel Xeon 3.6Ghz processors with EM64T, a lightning fast 800MHz front side bus and a large 1MB L2 Integrated Advanced Transfer Cache. Exceptional levels of performance are guaranteed at all time with six 184-pin DIMM sockets enabling support for up to 12GB of DDR333 memory or 24GB of DDR266 memory.

Whilst being a very small form factor motherboard, the Super Server 6014P-8R is certainly not small on features:

-4 x Hot-Swap SCA Drive Bays
-Adaptec 7902 2-channel Ultra320 SCSI

-IPMI 2.0 socket

A comprehensive suite of management tools, including IPMI 2.0, are available to ensure maximum system uptime and stability whilst foreseeing any potential problems.
