Model behaviour: Canon’s new large format promotion gives resellers a taste of the fashion world
21 November 2006
Canon rolls out ‘points win prizes’ promotion for its large format resellers, enabling them to win a range of luxury, fashionable gifts
Canon UK, world-leader in imaging technology solutions, today announced a new promotion aimed at its resellers designed to support sales of Canon large format printers (LFPs). The Canon Supermodels Incentive looks to increase profitability for resellers whilst rewarding them with a range of fashionable prizes.
Canon is offering points for individual LFPs sold and invoiced until 22nd December 2006 which can be traded in for prizes ranging from a pair of Paul Smith socks or a Thomas Pink shirt to spa days, a style consultation, polo lessons and a luxury weekend in London.
“Canon has launched six new LFPs in 2006 alone and our presence in the marketplace is growing rapidly, nearly doubling our market share in the first half 2006**. By supporting our resellers and helping them gain additional profitability through the sale of LFPs we hope to build our profile within this space even more.
“As the headline sponsor of London Fashion Week, we wanted to reward our partners for their hard work by offering a taste of the fashion world. The prizes available range from a designer rubber duck to personal shopping experiences and Gucci watches, so our partners can truly experience fashion at its best,” commented Geoff Slaughter, Director Canon Partner Channel, Canon UK.
Sales of all Canon’s LFP range, excluding the imagePROGRAF iPF9000, are compatible with this promotion. Resellers should submit their sales via the Canon website where points will be allocated to them. Accumulated points can be monitored via the Canon website and resellers can also keep an eye on how other participants are fairing.
