DocuWare UK Subsidiary Doubles New Business
June 18, 2010
Strong Upward Trend Leading into Second Half of 2010
Weybridge, June 17, 2010 – Document Management Software provider, DocuWare Ltd, a subsidiary of DocuWare AG, is enjoying a 100 percent increase in new customer acquisition and nearly a 25 percent increase in revenue over the same period last year. They are also able to celebrate their fifth year anniversary with excellent first quarter results.
After witnessing strong year-end business in 2009 (the fourth quarter was the most successful for DocuWare Ltd since its founding in April, 2005), DocuWare’s UK subsidiary continues to enjoy the upward trend. In the first three months of this fiscal year, 100 percent more busi-ness came from new customers; overall revenue grew by 23.6 percent. Thanks to a well-stocked pipeline, DocuWare anticipates that its British subsidiary will build on this success. In addition, the number of Partners (DocuWare calls its resellers, Partners) continues to grow in the UK mirroring an increased interest to work with a specialist in integrated document management. Currently,
17 Authorised Partners are selling DocuWare solutions in the UK – seven of these were added in the first quarter of 2010.
Both DocuWare AG and DocuWare Corporation also enjoyed excellent growth rates in the first quarter of 2010: in the German-speaking countries, revenue grew by 12.5 percent while the U.S. subsidiary boosted revenue by 18.6 percent.
